"GHOST TRAIN"

"Ghost Train" was inspired by

the abandoned homestead 

seen on the approach to

 historic Virginia City, on NV 341, from Highway 50 E from Carson City.

When I walked the site, I discovered

the old V & T Railroad tracks

running behind the property...

and I could almost see and hear

 the old train

 as it rumbled past in bygone days!  

“I chose this scene as my first

American Trails “Nevada” offering,

 because it poignantly reflects

the history of my adopted state

of Nevada.”
