Most "currently available" prints are now being ordered through FINE ART AMERICA. This website has options for ordering selected works, in different print media, ,sizes, framing  choices, etc. and is set up with a secure "shopping cart feature" for safe and easy ordering.   I am adding new works as they become available, so check back frequently.  If you can't find the  specific image you want "there", please feel free to contact me directly at santiagochavez@clearwire.net or other contact methods listed under the CONTACTS button on www.santiagosart.com .

Why can't I just print from the website ... ?

Santiago has proprietory rights to his creations, and although some items can be printed as a reference, or in gallery format, enlargements and/or fine quality prints must be purchased.  For a print out of a gallery page for reference, use a program like Canon Easy Web Print with a preview, to determine layout and # of pages.

What is a giclee print... ?

A giclee print is a "state of the art" photographic printing of a selected work.   A giclee print may be available in different sizes, from popular reductions to "full-size" depictions of the original painting, and on different media, such as canvas, illustration, watercolor, archival rag, etc.  Giclees are produced with archival inks on premium stocks from WWW.fineartamerica.com   .  Unless you request specific options, such as mounting, framing, chemically treated or coated, with archival UV and moisture protectants, (at additional cost), the print will usually be shipped rolled, and ready to be treated/mounted/framed as you wish within 3 days.

At present, only "Santuario De Chimayo" (see NEW MEXICO or AMERICAN TRAILS gallery buttons) is available as a "LIMITED EDITION" of 6, "personalized", self-produced giclee prints on canvas, priced at $400 each.  These 6 giclees have been produced under close artist supervision and approval, and will be personally signed, numbered and retouched with oils to provide a unique and more valuable addition to your collection. Retouching with oils will required additional time for drying, for delivery.

What does the  N/A or "?" mean on the order pages?

At the time of this publishing, a giclee may not be available yet, or the original has been sold or is not available for the giclee process and/or "some" other print options.

The "?" means that it has been photographed at various resolutions for reasonable print quality in the sizes indicated. We will not make larger prints than the photo resolution allows, to ensure satisfactory results!

The only way we can know "what you want" is if you contact us to let us know you are interested.  There is no obligation to buy, but we will add you to our own mailing list to let you know if and when a giclee becomes available.

Again, you would need to contact us personally, if you are interested in buying an original, or for more specific information on print/size availability, not answered in our websites.
